We decided to take a drive south, through Kelowna and up to Big White ski hill.  Have been thinking about it for a year or so now and finally made the opportunity real.  A full day of ice climbing.  Constructed out of 4 telephone poles and equipped with water misters, the ice is ever growing, changing and rejuvenating itself.  Although very tiring on the arms it sure makes for a great way to spend a day!  The full day climbing lets you come and go as you please, allowing for some rest, a tour around the resort and to locate some of the amazing places to eat and enjoy the atmosphere.  Would even recommend bring your skates for a glide on the outdoor rink.  Having lights on the ice tower you can climb your way under the stars well after the sun goes down.
